when it comes to hopping up like you wanted to do with the rush, it can only do so much, some guy was discussing this with his rustler, he spent so much on his Rustler to get it to handle as well as a Team Losi XXXNT or Factory Team RC10GT and it just wouldn't happen, he spent over 2x as much as he would have on everythin than a hopped up version of 1 of the above. NO matter what he did it still handled like a brick.. THe chassis jus doesnt allow handling to be improved beyond a certain point. If you want to race, go with RC10GT, XXXNT, or my fav, Mugen.

If you want the best, it would be difficult to recommend anything other than these 3.

theres a difference between being annoying on a track and winning races the Kyosho fits under "annoying" category.. the ones that you have to pass when you lap it ^_^

I wouldnt get a kyosho before you see one in person and look at the parts and assembly. plus everything is metric on them. also not to many LHS stock kyosho parts.

few extra bucks dont really bug me, but it is a gallon of fuel you could be buying instead! 299 for RTR losi = very nice price!

Yea, I'm most likely going to go with the Losi after more practice on the tracks. I going to skip the Nitro Rustler 2.5, even though it would be sweet, I am interested in racing. I have a few questions though. How is the parts availability for the Losi XXX-NT? Also, are there any hop up parts made for the truck?

What kind of hop up parts are you looking for???Parts are easy to find here but I'm not sure about where you live. I know you will be very happy with the losi, I have one and I'm very pleased with it. Team losi makes about every hop up you will need to be a contender in racing (i.e threaded shocks, graphite parts) but robinson racing has a aluminum diff gear, that is one part I would recommend. If you have any questions about the losi just ask.

Well, where can I find these parts on the internet? How is the parts availability in general at hobby stores for the Losi's?
