RE: AUSTARS Model Pty Ltd - Cessna 152 ARTF
I got a price of $1490.00 Plus $270.00 shipping to the Kansas City area. on the Cessna 182 TC.
It should be very nice.

Damn, Did you get a can of lube with that order.... That plane is nice but not THAT nice.

I've never seen an ARF in that price range before and I've been shopping for them since 1999. I would think the engine is included with that price. I know I could build one far, far cheaper and inject my own quality standards, but what, I wonder, makes these ARF's so pricey?? I'd love to own one, but.....
No lube, please. If I just HAVE to have one...I'll rough it out. - Ouuuch!!!![:@][:@]

hi guys the price quoted is for planes that we have had sent to australia,so customs duty taxes kill the price for the US market,we will be sending them straight from the factory to the U.S so they will be cheeper then that,i hope you guys understand this & the quality will blow your mind very scale to say the least

I would hope the prices are WAY lower, like at least half that. I agree, the pictures show a very nice plane. I would buy one if the price was right.

If I came over and bought two of them expensive birds from you I'd be customer of the day...maybe even of the week. I want that Ag Husky more than anything but if the wife finds out I paid $1500 for a ARF without an engine or even a radio my gass without the g is grasssss!!!!
C'mon, man. Swing me a deal. I'd make a good spokesman for you here in Maryland. Lots of clubs.....

Yes,you need to have charge/balance lead extensions. To obtain the correct C&G the batteries are buried deep into the cowl. You getting one of these?

I am tempted! Just wondering if it will fit into my car! If I do then will probably fit an AXI. Do you run a separate RX battery or have you found a suitable switched mode power supply? Have you found any problems with the kit or the need to modify/strengthen the structure?

RE: AUSTARS Model Pty Ltd - Cessna 152 ARTF
The model should fit in the average size car.Yes I use a seperate rx power supply.
The Kit is fine apart from the way the struts fix to the fuselage. There are blind nuts but these are just held in place on the thin cabin balsa sheeting. The 2 nd flight I did a sedate loop and the fuselage sides ripped.I cut away the sheeting and placed hardwood blocks and then re-sheeted!
