Default Wingbags.com or Wingbags by Caroline (Carden)?

Just checked out some wingbags.com bags at an IMAC meet today. THERE IS NO COMPARISON - Wingtote by far has the better product.

Default Wingtotes from Tower

I guess I would vote for wingtotes from Tower. Very nicely constructed and a good value

Looks like I should check out Wingtotes. Sorry I don't have them in the pole.

I guess that is how you learn new stuff, huh?

Default Wingbags.com

What everybody is forgetting is the Wingbags.com bags are made to fit each model custom! They are not ordered generic 27%, 40%. They are ordered by plane specifically.

WINGBAGS.COM

The choice is simple! Do not sacrifice your plane based on a RCU thread. Do what is right for the plane.

Default Wing Totes

I like the fact that the Wing Totes are not made for a certain model. The "generic" fit gives me flexibility from model to model. I am certainly not implying that wingbags are not a great product or not worth the money. Just for my dollar wingtotes were the best for me.

Wingtote can custom build a bag for your specific model if you want. Tell me kitman, how in the world am I going to sacrafice my model by getting a (superior) bag that is a few inches too long? Please be specific.

Ryan,

It is based on experienced that I make my comments. I had a general sized bag from Giantscaleplanes and the wings floated freely and snagged the control horns and servo horns, it rubbed a hole in the bag and stressed the aileron, by the time I got to Florida the damage was done. The next set I bought from Wingbags.com specifically for my FC 330 and made the trip to Joe Nall and Florida and no movement and damage due to the snug fit.

You're also talking about some pretty junky bags. I have a set of GSP bags and the only thing they do is keep the two wing halves in one general area. The Wingtote bags use fleece and foam rubber that don't snag anything and resist being bent. the carden bags are okay but after comparing both my money goes to WT.

Default OHH HII OHHHHH

For all of the red blooded troop supporting Americans, I think the universal fit "totes" are made overseas, where the wingbags.com website shows that they are manufactured in Ohio. Just food for thought.

Wingtote bags are made in Kent, right next to their office.

Thanks Ken. After flying in that much wind I'm just happy to have my plane in one piece. I need more power before I can fly at 3200' again.

Another note about wingbags (in general) snagging control horns... Wingtote has done the development and research to know that, and in correspondance made 2 foams "bricks" which you cutout for each aileron servo/control horn which further helps the "snagging"...

food for though

I came across your post about the wing bags. I have been trying to find a web site for "wingbags by Caroline" but have not found a thing. Would you be able to give me her website if she has one, or just a way to contact her?

Thank you
Scott

Wingbags by Caroline was part of Carden Aircraft.

I don’t believe they are around any longer after Carden was sold.
