Jacob get her to turn nose up a tad to do this all you do is angle your rudder in a tad(tuck it in towards transom0,this raises the bow a touch which will help when turning.

If it didnt make any diff thats odd to me because it makes a big diff on my boats ,maybe you have a hook or rocker in your hull?.Motor seems to rev pretty well though ,to be honest i wouldnt worry too much about it and move onto something a little faster and maybe a zenoah motor. If you do go zen then go full mod then you will be smiling .

I must have missed something, in his first post he said it was a stihl and in the pics in has a stihl decal on the recoil.[&:]

RE: Video of my 48" woody with new engine
Im using a Stihl, Jacob is using another 28cc trimmer engine. Had the boat out again today with a few changes, running trim tabs and turn fins now which seem to make the boat handle much better. I used to get a little chine walk when turning sometimes but that seems to be eliminated. It was a little loppy too and it handled surprisingly well. Also thined out the edges of the prop blades a little more, and running a little longer pipe length. The longer pipe is working great! Instead a ripping as soon as you start it and then falling flat, it sputters a bit now the first lap and then warms up to the proper tune like it should. Still using the 280 prop, its turning it now with ease so i didnt even bother to try the 275.
Boat is running really nice overall. Hit 52mph today on gps!!! Speed and handling are just great. Heres another vid: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=SO8Xx6VYm5Q
