I know this thread is ancient by now but I just finished mine. Kit #81.

Probably the best-designed kit I've ever built. You know time went into designing it when the sheeting is pre-cut for you and not only that, it actually fits. I assembled the entire wing without a single drop of glue and it jigged itself together flawlessly.

I finished it in the scheme of the N18BB, an O-2A restored by the Museum of Flight on (I believe) Seattle.

She came out at 59 ounces AUW. Motors are Suppo 2217 1100kv with MAS 10x7 Electric props. 30 amp ESCs and a single 3s 2200 pack.

Hoping to maiden this Sunday.

Some notes after 10 successful flights.

1) 3s 2200 was too small. Replaced with a 3s 2700 and now get +-6 minutes with the two Suppo 2217/8s.
Had to redesign the battery tray for the 2700 but I think I actually saved some weight this way. You're pretty much on your own for the battery tray anyway as it's not
sufficiently outlined in the manual or plans, but hey. It's a battery tray. How hard can it be?

2) Front motor was giving me fits. Turned out one of the motor leads had a poor solder job from the factory. Resoldered the bullet connector on, no more problems. Plane will fly on just the rear motor though with absolutely no problem.

3) Because of a small tip stall issue I added some aileron reflex to induce a bit of washout. She'll still drop a wing but you have to slow her down a lot more. The maiden's landing was pretty hot and she still dropped a wing but now she's a touch-and-go queen.

All in all I couldn't be happier.

Here's the maiden video.
