I've been in the hobby for 17 years and used Deans for a long time, but now I always use the Traxxas connectors, they're just much better IMO.

I have used Deans connectors for a long time and that is what I like. If you know what you're doing, they are a sinch to solder and I think easy to use. I have no complaints about deans. I switched all my lipo stuff to bullet conectors simular to those offered by Losi so I would not get the chargers mixed up and acidently charge a lipo on nimh settings. (My chargers do lipo only or nimh/nicd only)
Again, thats my opinion and you may or may not agree.
