RE: Can we get enough of Firebirds?
Here are some pics of the engine mounts. I didn't took the time to remove the upper bypass cover, but if you need more details - let me know.
We did a start up yesterday and guess what? 23 kilo more or less out of the pipe Can it be better out of the box...
I also added two diodes on the front wheel doors. Don't think you can "see this enough"...[&o]

RE: Can we get enough of Firebirds?
Hi Jeremy:
No problem getting at the engine mount bolts, but the most forward and aft bypass hex screws, especially the most aft can be tedious without drilling the suggested holes.
Getting the aft screws properly seated and tight is essential as the aft bypass ring holds the pipe in position. The access holes really are not that obtrusive.

RE: Can we get enough of Firebirds?
Hi again...
Sorry for the misunderstandings...
I really don`t see the need for making those holes (it's just to beautiful to cut in..) to tighten the top cover. Both me and my friend Mr. Hammerstad manage to do this without.
With some threadlock and a ball hex key this is like steelign sweets from a kid...[X(] The aft ones was a mix of ball hex - from the top and via main gear door.
Anyway it's up to you Jeremy.
