Henk, if you have a chance, could you post a few more miscellaneous pics? A few more of the cockpit if you can. [8D] I picked up a Fei Bao 21 kit, and am planning to model it after the MiG-21 parked at Sosterberg at your museum.

Thanks- I hope you guys enjoy your very own MiG-21!

Hi Ron sure I can, at this moment I only have the 2 allready posted, next time I visit my friend I will take pictures for you I will PM you

Regards, Henk

In this pic i see some plumbing disconnected. I believe this carried hot exhaust air from the motor to the blow flaps?? this helped to make the flaps more effective. This baby landed at almost 200mph...[:-]

This Polish Mig-21 started out as a PFM model on 9-25-68 and eventually converted to a PLM version.

Henk,
I looked up the wrong model. Yours is a MIG-21 MF.Looks like the mfg date is 1973. Here is the book and a pic of the bird you have.

Yo V..
You should get one of these and mount it one the roof at work ,I know that it would confuse those flying in & out of Deer Valley, maybe even get a tax write off.. You have 3 Mig 21's in your stable and one of this size would complete the set.

Henk,
I see that, in my book too. Your Mig is definately an "MF" Model. You can easily tell by the wide dorsal spine behind the cockpit. The PFM model its much narrower.

Hey, you found a pic of the Soesterburg MiG I wanted to do. [8D] I haven't even had the time to compare the spines shape though... [:@] I also like the Polish scheme posted, with the white stripe. Might help with visibility a bit. [8D]
