yes they offer a lid for them...but in all honesty I would just get a new tank...getting the old lid off and the new one on without breaking the mounts can be a pain...also you will want to make sure the screw on the bottom side of the lid is tight so it holds the o-ring right...and sometimes u may need to make sure the o-ring is good and dry so it seals better...never had a issue with a torpeda fuel tank though

You isolate which gear is binding? Maybe you can pinpoint the location.

If you install a Fatter O-Ring in the Gas Tank lid,,,,it will Close up a Lot tighter and stay sealed better.
You can get O-ring kits from Harbor Freight for Cheap......

If you need a Gasket for the Diff,,,,,,you might try buying Gasket material from the local Auto Parts store and making one yourself.....

the gas tank seals nice when you close the lid its just the lid come back up when you drive it

yea i was goin to get some gasket maker but i had some cvt gasket stuff and just coverd that little pice of cardbord with it and let it dry it should work but i might need to get some any ways because i need to do a few motors soon an the other diffs on the car didnt have seals on anyof the other diffs but thay dont seem to bind up..
