Flux parts dont break as often, therefore he doesn't have many parts in stock[img][/img]

I'm leaning more towards the flux myself. My LHS just doesn't carry that much parts for the flux. Has a ton of t-maxx parts though. That is really the only thing that is holding me back right now.

Ok... Flux it is. The people have spoken!!! I dont have much experience with r/c in general yet, but I do have a 2.5 tmaxx and it's constantly breaking something. Got it running again today and bam!!! broke an axle!

I thought of that, but the thing is the brushless version isn't waterproof. The truck is only as waterproof as the most non-waterproof part, and castle's brushless system isn't specified for any kind of water rating.

I am only guessing, but some might want the waterproof setup that comes with the maxx.I know that means nothing to someone who can do that themselfs, but to some it does.
I don't see any reason why someone choosing between the two today would choose the E-maxx over the Savage.
Have a look [link=http://www.castlespecialprojects.com/creversing_controllers.html]here[/link], water resistance is standard on all Castle surface ESCs.
Joe Ford at Castle told me it was fine to get it wet, just don't submerge it, and make sure you lube the motor afterwards. That said I'm not in too much of a hurry to test it with mine lol.

Are you planning on running in the ocean? LOL
If your running it outside and it rains or you go through a puddle it will be fine, as long as you dont submerge the car in a bucket of water.

RE: brushless tmaxx or savage flux?
After all the reading of several forums and what not the Flux is the better truck in my mind
I have added it to my wish list which may be the spring
have to get my Corr truck first then the FLux then the list keeps going
