Apart from a paint touch up here and there, the only thing left is to put the servo's in the stabs, which i'm hoping to do this weekend.
I was looking at the stabs yesterday, more room in a Kinder egg!

Duncan,
(and others), I had problem using the valve with my Viperjet, it seems there is some restriction in the valve for the main gears, the first couple flights I had some problems getting the legs to retract completely, I havn't tried it since (lotsa snow here [:'(]), but I changed (per recommandation from Sandor) the airlines to the main gear to 4 mm (was 3), I hope that will help a little, Sandor also suggested installing another airbottle (I have the big one, and one of the small, both from the kit for the retracts)
They work fine on the ground, but in flight I had a small problem with them

For the doors, I have used two of the small restrictors that follows the valve.

PS: I use 8 bar
Hehe, quoting myself, but have none of you had the same issue ?

These will handle the gear on mine, hope they'll be enough.

Thanks Duncan!
I'll see if I can add another tank to mine, Sandor suggested that this would also help, might try that (the I have something to do while this [:'(][:-][&o][&:][:@] snow is laying here)
Is Ali also using the same valve ?

Not quite sure I understand the problem? Is it working with the "Manual" activation? Do you have air pressure in the system above the gear failsafe setting? Please explain in further detail so I can assist...

Are you running it through a powerbox or directly from the rx? With no air in the system as Todd mentioned, the only things that works, are the brake valve and the manual button to test the gear.

Peter are you using a powerbox or just a receiver? If you are using a powerbox, make sure you initialise the 5 channels before you start. My valve didn't work until I'd done that. What have you set the time delays to? I think default is 3 seconds. You can reset the unit, it tells you how in the manual.

Hi

without air, only the manual should work, so that's ok. I set the atv to 150% using the powerbox, but 100% without the powerbox. It's really important to follow the powerbox instructions to initialise the channels, it's just like an ECU learning the rc.

I forgot to ask, what tx are you using? And which switch do you use for the retracts?

Plug a servo into channel 5 and make sure you are getting full throw both directions. Might want to test the valve on a different channel? The EV5U-PRO will not actuate from the TX unless the air pressure in the system is above the gear failsafe pressure setting. Manual button will still function however.

[size=2]Hi Todd,

servo in channel 5, i already did and is also working.
i had the pressure above the gear failsafe.
i also tested it on another channel with atv on 150%

why goes the brake led and valve on/off when i remove the brake lead?[&:]

I have got also the other EVSD-SQ-PRO airpower seq. with the two digital pressure sensors and the seperate valves.
it is brand new but here are the digital pressure sensors broken.
I can program the valves but i can't program the gearfailsafe.

We bought last year 4 EVSD-5U-PRO and all 4 have broken pressure sensors.[:'(]
I am sure a lot of other costumers have ( had ) the same problem.

I am very dissappionted in the airpower products

I am almost ready with my skymaster viperjet and now i can not go further[&:]

I would like to fly with my viper on of these days.[&o]

I think for so much money they have to bring a much better product.

Hi Peter

Have you tried taking the gearsafe setting down to 0 psi? On your DSX9 in the master menu, is channel 5 and the switch set to active? I know its a stupid question, but worse things have been over looked before

Sound like a duff unit to me.

Have you tried to contact Airpower directly? I think they have a warranty. Ive had a few faulty units in the past and found them to be helpful.

Cheers, Alex
