I am using a KS pipe for it. This plane will probably be my IMAC plane for this year so I figured might as well do a pipe.

I can see myself buying a second one already. One for IMAC and one for 3D

onto hinging the rudder..

once again some toothpicks, 3-in-1 oil and some gorilla glue. If you get your glue amount correct this way works like a charm.

One of the most things I enjoy most about building is when you start putting the graphics on and the plane starts to look realy good

more progress..

* Note, if you want your canopy to actually fit back on the plane put the closing back piece of gray depron on the inside of the cockpit and not the back

You can use foam safe CA or white glue for the depron, I guess you could use epoxy as well. I opt'd for foam safe CA

3DAP... thats hard to read hahha ALL CAPS is generally considered yelling and hard on the eyes

I haven't flown the plane yet.. snow and sub 30 weather right now. I will be running a Mejzlik 23x8, will be using 9303 2.4 with an R921, remote receiever, Smart-Fly Sport Plus, and A123s. Ignition will be a 1 cell Lipo... no choke servo.

Sorry to hear about your shoulder! You will like yougraphics when you get them.. Brad is top notch!

I got three flights on mine yesterday, best flying 50cc plane I've flown. Everything about it is good, quality construction, best looking 300 on the market, good service from E.F., etc.... This plane is locked in on rails, very solid performer and feels like it's much bigger than it is.

ORIGINAL: 3DAP

I WILL HAVE IT BUILT IN MY HEAD BEFORE I EVEN START IT.

And that's always a good plan. That way it goes together really smooth.

I forgot 3DAP!! That explains the caps... my bad sorry!

I will be doing some more on it this weekend. I have to mount the wheel pants and the engine as well as the final pieces related to that. I will continue to update the thread until it has several flights and some video here for yas.

Jake

For what it's worth the CA won't be able to hold your Pilot in pace more then a handful of Flts..........

There is lot's of Vibration which U will see as soon as U start her up. Cut a 5 cent size hole in the Center and Glue a small piece of wood into the Pilot Base.
The use 2 screws to hold him down. This and in my Cases Shoe Goo has never failed while just CA has.

3DAP I am not sure actually.... its true ultracoat so maybe could tell by looking at an ultracoat site. However it might be hard to tell that way depending on how good of a picture they show. Maybe Chris will chime in..

FlyJets, ya I have been wondering about that myself.. I think the dash will be ok but the pilot has a bit more mass. Maybe I will give that a go.. thanks for the tip!

I am hoping to clear off my bench today and get some work done on this baby. With it being in the 20s outside it's not very encouraging!
