Viper 2.0 refurb
Hi all. I have been out of the sport for several years and a buddy got me back into it. He also gave me this airframe. It is pretty beat up and needs some tlc. I need some parts and the factory won’t talk to me without a serial number. I can’t find a serial number anywhere. Where is this serial number located?

This circuit board with leads came with the new 2m viper. Haven't found how to connect the two leads coming from it. One labeled (light) and the other (gr to). The two pin connector is labeled (led) which is connected to one of three leads going to the front. The other two are labeled (gear door) and (gear light).

That sounds right. The other problem is the the two pin connector was connected to a lead that wasn't labeled. The other two lead cable is labeled gear light. The two leads are the light and gear motor. Not sure what it will take to see exactly where each wire goes. It I hook it up wrong light and gear motor will that cause a problem?

Are you using the Pilot retract controller?
The retracts themselves aren't bad. It's the controller. Let me guess. You're having issues that they don't come down, or they get stuck? If so, get yourself a Xicoy LGC15. Problem solved. Up the amperage to the the motors. Another thing that may work, but I have never tried, it get to a 3S Life. Maybe upping the voltage. If the sticking is in fact your problem.
Once I switched to the Xicoy controller. Issue went away.
