sorry guys
I never tried to upset anyone.. and it was the set up.. not just the tires...........
any how even though this thread is dead.. the real definitiion to the thread depends on what u expect from the buggy both durability wise and performance wise... The race level buggies all take harder hits than a buggy aimed at a basher.... . but there are a few good ones out of recent the XTM.. and the Hyper 7 are both compitent.... c hubs fail easily on both but the hubs for the hyper are easy to get and just released a cnc hub for the xtm..
just for the record I am not putting any other buggies down just havent seen em...........run.....
THe xtm is also known as the Rex X.. in uk....
Sorry to cause quite a stir in this forum.. sorry Grampi

I have seen a storm today at the BMX track that had been engine swaped to a OSRZVO1B and it looked like a very good buggy. If I really wanted a buggy and wanted to keep it under 500.00$ I would buy the storm with not a single hesitation. It has a good radio, decent servos, and the engine is just fine for breaking in the chassis and deciding what to buy next. I know there is a racer who has three Kani 2's and two storms he uses to practice. The storm is actually a very good buggy, TRUE STORY.
