My wife is not that understanding. In fact, the only think I do on our dining room table is balancing and programming. Otherwise I would be a dead man walking.

Such a boring room....no dirt, no dust, no broken planes, props, glue stains, etc.....what do you do in that room? Use it as an emergency room for traffic accidents?

Now that I think of it.....I just might get into a fender bender JUST to be sent there

The room is clean right now but give us a bit as there are about 4 to 6 people that will be building in it and it is bound to get cluttered, I will keep you posted it is bound to look like crashmeisters or probably worse as time goes on , and if you look closeer you will see plenty of busted balsa- the tail sections and planes on the wall used to fly

It's a sad sad day. My garage that is typically set up for the important stuff like planes.
(pic 1)

Is now cleaned up and set up for buildin a bar.
(pic 2)

My job also involves custom cabinet making.
That corner of plywood you see is 1 sheet of about $400 bucks worth of maple faced ply. Another $400 bucks worth of solid maple and walnut is coming tomarrow.

Here is my shop detached from the house looks pretty small.

The second pic shows the table saw and the band saw along with a dust collector.

The third pic shows the skill saw, work bench soon to be replaced with a new one, and the peg board.

There I have it me and my dad's wood/hobby shop. We have to make room for ouor projects wich is kinda hard. Planning on adding the shop another side so we hav lots of more room. By the way it even has a bathroom with sink! we usually use it as a storage too bad.[&o]

You may notice the "star" carpet I had installed, however, you must also realize that NO MATTER WHAT COLOR ITEM YOU DROP ON THE FLOOR, IT WILL LAND ON THE IDENTICAL STAR COLOR, OR BACKGROUND COLOR!!

What the hell was I thinkin'??

This is a cool thread! Lots of really nice workshops and garages! I envy those of you who have the room on your proprty to build a dedicated workshop. That's nice.

My garage is reserved for my car. So that leaves me a spare bedroom that has become my hobby room. I use our old dining table but you can't see it anymore! I'm just getting back into planes after a long hiatus. I'm having trouble finding a spot on my table to build my plane, lol!

Just got back into modelling a few months ago, so collecting tools is a slow process, but here's what I have so far.....

1. 2'x10' flat workbench w/shelves, and a couple tables off to the side for extra stuff.

2. New computer with high speed internet access for fast ordering of parts and accessories.

3. And most importantly, a fully stocked wet bar and beer fridge within 10' of workbench to help relieve tension during those stressful building sessions.
