Back to Celebs:

True, these are not people who are worthy of worship, but let's face it...The more influential people who are involved in this hobby, the better. I love to see high-profile people getting involved, because it gets us exposure.

Oh yeah, Elijah Wood (young actor from Lord of the Rings) has a .60-size trainer with a still-photo camera on it. He got into RC after doing a couple of movies that featured it.

Default Boston.........good stuff

Boston is good stuff, I just gotta ask, how is something "unproduced" (most of that album was made by Tom Scholtz himself, in his own studio, okay he produced it), corporate? The following albums were not as good, but they did rock! What about Triumph or Zepplin? The Who and the Dead are also there....!

And Hey, I heard Eddie Weeks flies jets!!!!!!!!!!! And he teaches
how-to at Lumberton!!!!! Hes been on many SKS Videos!

Just kidding guys don't stoke out on us!

Rock FAN

btw, wish I had two turbines in the back of my truck, every time I hit a red light with one of those guys with the boom boom systems, I could light up a real window vibrator! And it would sound better!

Ugh. That bad, overproduced milestone of corporate rock from the seventies. It was the beginning of the end. It started with Boston, and ended with Journey. Yecch.

If he flies RC, he is partially forgiven.

Jimmy Stewart flew free flight, and he and Fonda used to build and fly together.
Kingfish Sadler(Rochester from Jack Benny) was a pretty hardcore control line speed guy.
Of course, Reginald Denny, but that was before your time!

The best of the Best - Ritchie Blackmore's Rainbow - the Rainbow Rising album. You can't bang your head hard enough for this one!!

Genesis, a little Peter Gabriel, Kansas, Pink Floyd, and lest we forget the wonderful sounds of Ozzy and Black Sabbath. We have a real appreciation of music going on here. I particularly like to listen to Floyd's "Learning to Fly" off of Division Bell when using real flight G2. War Pigs seems appropriate when working on what else..... a warbird. Talk about something erie.... Just as I was typing this.... it comes on.. hahaha oh well isn't timing wonderful?
And a new favorite to build to is Tool.

Default More tunes

Pegasus,
I bet you like Rush too don't you!Hehehe! Back when I first learned to play bass, I bought a Rickenbacker bass exactly like Geddy Lee's!Hehehe!
You must admit, RUSH are pretty damn good. The older stuff is better though!
Black Sabbath Heaven and Hell, I used to have that album on vinyl and I think I must played it until I wore grooves through the thing!
What about RIOT? The Fire down under album?? There's some good tunes!!!

Yes I like Rush, and not just because I'm a little bias.

Ah, you're forgetting Metallica! Megadeth! Ministry! That'll get the corpuscles flowing!

But just don't use an Exacto knife while listening, you'll probably hack the model to shreds!
