O.K.......I didn't know that my thread would cause this much ruckus! Anyway, As for the crawler I want to build, I want something that can handle the abuse of backyard bashing but can also crawl well, I'm not looking for a comp crawler, and I was also wondering how good the durability is on the clod axles(haven't gotten them in the mail yet) I know that the gecko chassis comes with knuckle braces.

that kid is crazzzzy. i know nothing about rock crowling but it is cool and i would like to get in to it. i tryied to find a ready to run crowler but the cheapist i could find one was 2,000!!!! thats carzy but it did have a lot of mods. u guys know of a cheap good crawler. thanks.

If you want a ready to run, there's always the TXT-1 or something smaller, the TLT-1. I've heard that they're both pretty good and a heck of a lot less than $2000! But if you can score some cheap clod axles like me 
that would probably be the cheaper approach. The TXT runs at about $400+.[

yup its a sad day for your wallet when you get into this hobby, but a fun day for you! now for chassis are you going for a new stick chassis? or somehting like the V2....
i like the V2 but thats jsut me......

i don't know much anout this hobby so i have no clue what a V2 chasses is. whin a was littler i had a clod buster i think that was the name and i just killed it thru bashing. had no i clue i could turn it in to something like this
