I have two NIB .40 sized Wildsticks and one 1.20 sized Wildstick, also NIB, so I do care about learning of your experiences. At least it is something to think and dream about, even if I never do get to fly them.

Well I finally got it done. Pic 1 and 2 are of the completed work. The farmer finally got his bean harvested so I built a landing stip in the field next to my lawn. 20' wide and 100' long. Just used the lawn mower to smooth it out. I got in an ok flight. Plane was not quite set up from modifications to nose and weight reduction so it was a little sporatic, plus 5mph winds. Rechage batterys, watch some football(go BSU), and fly again. This is where the next pictures come in. There is a road about 100 yards off the end of the runway and a power line that runs along the road. Well the second fight of the day went really well, no wind, slight adjustments to throws and flaps, tune the engine a little more and the plane was tracking well. Was setting the trim up for my flaps and doing some low passes to test, I have the elevator mixing on a rotary knob so I can adjust for testing. Turned around one more time to land and what do you know the power line jumped up in the air and grabe the plane. Amazing how the damage in exactly like the tree damage. I still have all of the templates and sanding blocks I used in the last repair so I just get to do it all again. Now I have to figure out what to do about the power line.

Apparantly I am not supposed to fly this plane. As you can see this time it is unrepairable. Got it fixed up from last time and ready to fly last night. Got up early this morning and put in 3 good flights. On the 4th flight I flew into the top of a tree. Now I have a plane worth of equipment and need to find a plane to put it in, any suggestions?

Just reporting on a Wild Stick that had not been completed that I picked up. I read all of the threads and posts on RC Universe which helped in my completion of this plane. I test flew today (3 flights) and it is a great flyer. My build included;
1. DLE 30 gas for power
2. Moved rudder servo to rear
3. Built hatch for 2 Life batteries in tail just in front of servos
4. Cut out servo tray for tank located at CG
5. Used 2-56 rods for tail flying wires
6. Now the big one! I had to add about 4 oz of lead to nose to get even a rearward CG. I did not have to cut the 2 or 3 inches of the nose. Maybe the DLE is that much lighter than the Zenoahs etc that others were using

Hope this helps the next person that builds one of these (if any are left)!

It's just me talking to myself...<G>

I paid $100 for my Wild Stick 120. Someone was interested in purchasing it from me. I can't remember now if I sold it or not. I hope not. No, it isn't perfect, that's for sure, but it is close enough to be worth futzing with to make it useful.

NM2K I got my Wild Stick from Henry McDonald who is moving to PA. See the pic attached. One of your posts a long time ago mentioned you had 2 40 size Wild Sticks and a 120 Size Wild Stick. After seeing mine fly one of our club members wants a 120 size! I would be interested in a 40 size if you still have and want to clear out. I will be back in town flying again beginning Monday the 11th if you would like to se the Wild Stick Fly (at CRCC field)

I have two of these sleeping in my garage/hangar. One has a ST 2300 and the other has a DLE 20. Both are set up with crow and flaps and have many successful and fun flights on them. I just ordered a larger H9 Ultra stick 30 from Tower and will put a 32cc gas engine on it.. Sticks RULE!
