I think chips is 95" and the Hanger 9 is going to be 100" if they build it. Please do

Default 46% Hangar 9 Ultimate Bipe

I know for a fact Chips is between 99 and 100 inches, I have seen it measured several times. I was just curious because when they were side by side at the TOC they looked the same.

Default Hauling a 46% Ultimate in a Chevy Tahoe

Does anyone know if this aircraft (with the stabs and wings removed of course) will fit in a Tahoe with captian or bench seats folded down?

Thanks for your help!!!

ORIGINAL: dick Hanson

Mine - designed for TOC- is scale with a scalelike fully symmetrical airfoil - and Yes some were made that way in Switzerland.
Mine weigh -- 17 lbs .
Others who have built them frm my plans typicaly are at 20-22 lbs. with a 60 .cc
those are 1900 sq in full span ones - mine is clipped.
Dick, Love the Bucker. Is your's fabric or film covered and is there a kit still available? One more question, which engine installation took the 2nd at the 90 TOC. The Bucker Jungamnn and the Jungmeister are wonderful subjects. Under modelled for sure.

Regards, Bill

The ones I did were covered in Monokote -engines used at TOC wer glow plug /tuned can Tartan Twins - I really can't recommend that setup -compared to current gas twins . A local guy is looking at getting parts/jigs from current owner of them - I swapped it all away 10 years ago -
