I just swapped out the Ofna engine mount for the Traxxas big block mount. The Traxxas big block mount is 10X better and actually allows you to get a good gear mesh! HA . All you have to do is cut a little of the end of the mount off (it is pre-marked).

may I ask why you switched from the sf.32 to the picco?

I switched honestly because the Sure Fire .32 was too much. It added too much weight to the rear (tortured the suspension), got fed up with the tuning, when it was off road the tires would hop/spin and burn out the clutch, and really it was just too much torque. I am extremely happy with my Picco .26. I broke it in yesterday and today I am going to do some hard bashing at a construction site.

oh I didnt know it had been asked before. I want a sf.32 for my mgt, so I was curios about your problems. I seem to like to much power so it might be right for me! You mentioned tuning it, I have a picco max .21 that is awfull to tune, and I wanted to stay away from that. Are thoose moters hard to tune? thanks.

No you cannot use a hpi 28 pullstart... the Surefire uses a funky internal OWB and it wont work... as for the Axials.. I cant say

you can use the pullstart from the HPI 28... or the Axial 28, or the Axial 32

all you need to do is use the owb for that perticular ps. almost all these engines use the same start shaft diameter, so its only needing the correct owb for the style of ps you have...

Actualy we didn'g even need to do that...the PS assemblies are 100% identical.... Axial and K4.6 are basically the same engine..

Linkage Mod
Note: It is very difficult to tune your LSN with your carb in this position... but hey, its better than your carb getting stuck and watching your $1000 Revo smash into a wall at WOT

I did this same mod on my Sure Fire .32 and now I have done it with my Picco .26. I was fed up with the carb sticking and the junky linkage setup ruining my day . Here are some pics and a video of my setup. The throttle response is amazing!
