thanks for the tips Andonai.

bigmik, heheh also a owner of a Vader, If you have the time, please try the Quad in the TT, and see if you like the speed, its another 10 days before my C2 arrives. My guess is that it has to be atleast a bit faster then the 27t, even that you have geared it like mad.

ok my mistake, I aint so good at this gearing thing as you might have understood

My thougths where.
If you add teeth to the pinion = more strain on the motor
If you remove teeth from spur = add strain on the motor

ajoelvardy, anything lower than a 15T is gonna kill it and even 15T is pushing it. Try a 19T.

the link to the shopping trolly on tower didnt work, it just comes up with what was already in there on each persons pc lol. Try team associated. The kits a very easy to build (well i find them easy). Do you want a kit or a rtr or dont you mind. the TC4 rtr looks good or the factory team (but the FT is expensive and you still need motor +ESC n batts.

For batteries i would reccommend something over 3000mah. you han get stick packs or make your own out of single cells.

http://www2.towerhobbies.com/cgi-bin...&I=LXCUH3&P=ML this battery will do (this is a twin pack though)

I cant say an actual speed but if you've run nitro before then it feels slow. its good for drifting though.

I also have a Tamiya Super Hornet, and one of the Original Tamiya Hornets from like the 1970's

Errr a stock evader prolly goes 20mph, I think it's meant to be 22mph or something, but 22-25 will do

Ummm an 11t in a TT-01... lol, lol, lol, lol's more!! LOL! rofl, lollercopter, lollercakes, lollerskates. Haha don't do it man, I did it, and was laugh at by most, and after I ran it, I know why they laugh (stipped spur, bald pinion, toothless diff housing thingy, and more things... lol, I'm like still laughing think of what I did to mine with the 11t. LOL I also melted the stock tamiya plugs together, smoked an ESC, melted all the wires to and from the ESC. LOL it was so funny.

Its a great and FUN car! You could race it if you can find a Tamiya stock class or free for all or something like that.

I think by "WHAT SYSTEM" you mean what am I running in my cars?

TT-01:
Duratrax Sprint ESC
Monster Stock 2
Matched GP3300

Evader:
Team Br00d modified Reedy Quad Mag
Nosram Tomohawk ESC
Gladiators

AND A STOCK EVADER CAN NOT handle a 3s lipo.

EDIT: lol what am I smoking... a stock evader??? lol well that cant either but neither can a TT-01, that was what I was meaning to put in there.
