That's a good point, David, about "on condition" vs. a new battery every season weather you need it or not. Also, as in some batt share situations, two batteries can be used in parallel, allowing a whole lot of surge capacity when needed by a lot of servos. As far as I "have been told" with some 2.4 Gig systems and brown out possibilities, it is nice to know a redundant system will offer protection against a single source battery being drug down in voltage no matter what the cause. In the end, I'd rather be lucky than good any day. I believe having redundant packs in my jet will give me the edge on luck
