I like the addition of the stacks. So if you're weathering the stacks, I assume you're going to do weathering to the rest of the truck?

Very nice addition Chaman!! Brings out that true redneck feel... (Caution-Consturctive Critisizm Ahead) I would take the time to clean out the opening of the stacks before you weather them and add black for the sooting. Since they are angle cut you can see the no-so-clean edges.
but those stacks are a great touch and must have taken a long time to drill all of those holes by hand

I will only wheather the stacks very lightly. Im trying to get a restored but used look. Stacks are things that will get discolored and accumulate filth quite rapidly, even when the truck itself looks basically new. The stacks are brass, painted to get an aluminized look.

Update:
So, I just finished the stacks with some detailing and weathering effects. Like I said this one will have a restomod look but the stacks will get dirty after some light use.
Also the rear lights are in the works. As soon as all the lightning is done, then I will fire it up for a test run!

Your pics seem dark, may want to check the setting on your camera.
I like the stacks, but the finish seems flat?

The stack finish is not flat, its semi-gloss or satin, difficult to appreciate in pics specially such dark ones. Still experimenting with settings in this camera.
Update:
Back lights finished. Wiring is ready too. Its almost officially done, one month behind schedule though! Still debating on adding mudflaps. Dont know if they would look out of place due to the huge width of the dually tires, and how extreme the offset is.

Fender wells only in the front. The back tires run like that with the whole chassis showing (like the 1:1). From a lateral view the rear light wires dont show. The red tape will be painted black so it blends with the rest.

He meant fenderwells in the front...
It would not be too difficlt narrowing the rear axle if have the RCP satinless steel straight axles. If interested we can talk

Update:
Cabin lights including front headlights and dash were done. I had a bit of a hard time trying to illuminate the gauges. The pic dont truly make justice. I like how the light illuminates the driver...it seems just straight out of a slasher movie!
Valve stems to the wheels were added.
Pending the rear lights.

WOW great build, would love to see a video when you are done.
the one thing i don't like about it is the width of the rear axel. if this were my build (and i really don't care, but if you are going for looks i think you should do it) i would find a rear axel with a little less width. other wise i love the whole look of the truck. another great looking body for this truck would be the new axial SCX body (not the whole thing of course) with this body the whole dually and wood bed thing might not stick out sooo much.
