Thanks to Frank for putting on a suberb event on. Paul and I had a very good time,
it was so good to see old friends after a long winter, and the weather was wonderful.[sm=shades_smile.gif]

ORIGINAL: Brickyard

There was a blue Angel Phantom tearing up the sky Friday, I think it was a skymaster. WOW, that thing was on rails & fast. Anyone know that guys setup?
Yeah that was mine (actually RCI owns the plane, but I did the build and get to fly it) and it is a Skymaster F-4 factory painted in Blue Angels, powered by a JetCat P-160SX.

I was not at FJ but saw Dave fly that SM F-4 at speed world and he rocked the party for sure. The Blue Angels livery looks way cool on the F-4 and Dave does a great job with it.

Here's Dave and his smokin F-4. If you can see the gap in the trees just in front of the UB... Dave was turning out of the pattern, keeping it low and fast and flying through that gap! Good eyes and guts ball.

Thanks for the info Dave. Cool low passes!!! That thing tracked like a Bandit.. I flew down to see an F-18, but think that Phantom stole the show. I was also extremely impressed by an F-16 thunder bird that tracked very true. My girlfriend and I waited around for it to land to see who's kit this big bird was. We were suprised to see this guy carrying this little bite size Tamjet.. For all of you that hasn't seen that thing fly.. WOW!!!.. Awesome presence in the sky. Also on a cheap note, "Sapac" If your looking for an unbelievable flyer for around $600.. I was very impressed with the T-45 & L-39.. Very nice field long slow rolls..
