The only fiberglass I used was 4 inches in the center of the wing were they joined together other than that there is no fiberglass on the plane. As far as props I am using an 11x7 APC it has about ¾ inch clearance at the most witch is not much. And also I did not use retraces so the length of my landing gear is probably different than the pica kit.

On the subject of shaping balsa blocks, lately Iv'e fallen in love with pink foam which shapes very easily and then just glass it. Seems to work quite well.

I flew the Duellist again today. I changed the props to 11x5 APC. Rpm’s were around 12600. It did not seem to change the speed of the plane but it did slow down the down line. This is good I like this set up.
