RE: Hostetler Cessna 182
Flew it again today my self. What a sweetie in the air. Nice big rudder turns. It flies pretty smooth with none of that jurky movement you see with smaller planes. First landing was with about 1/2in flaps. Little nose up but not bad at all. Going to work on getting more flaps and will need to add an elevator down mix for sure. Looks like this thread has ran it's corse. Hope it help out someone else[8D]

Im going to keep it and fly it but if someone wants it,,,it's gone in a minute. Dont get me wrong it's a great plane it's just to big for me and my garage!

You won’t need a calculator. Here’s the easiest thing to do since you don’t wanna purchase the plans. If you email Wendell Hostetler’s son via the web address I gave you previously, he will reply and let you know where the CG is located. Wendell died a couple days ago so you won’t be able to talk to him, but his son and his daughter still run the website and they’ll be more than happy to provide you with the information in terms of center of gravity and the amount of throw you’ll need for each control surface. They’re very helpful. Good luck on your plane.
