some more pics of the locking pins and location of the grub screws:








It's best to drill the 2mm hole for the locking pin with the block installed to the scissor link. So through the bottom part and the block, do use a drill press for accuracy. exact location of the hole is not critical, as long as it goes through the block of course.

Guys, has anyone replaced the main gear tires on this plane? Curious as to how you did it.

I ordered extra from Skymaster, replaced a main and one on the nose.

Did you take the wheel off first? Seems like a pressure fit bearing that is pretty tight on the wheel shaft. Please describe your process if you don't mind. thx.

I figured out how to do it. The wheel comes off easily, the bearing wasn't terribly tight.
