Is it a spring or an oleo damper? I’m afraid it won’t dampen the landing if it’s just a spring
it´s a gas dampner from kitchen furnitura rated at 60N ,with 10kg it starts to move and keeps travel at constant speed at 6kg,i tested it over an industrial scale.if it´s too soft i can get stiffer ones
I guess what I'm asking is: When you actually produce a fuselage, is the internal wooden structure added later or is it put in place while it's laid up.
By the way, that plug is gorgeous!

It comes out of the mold like the CARF fuselage - you can add whatever you like later :-)
You all do a great job on these. As much as I see you work I would think more people would be videoing their flights. I love seeing Gee Bee planes fly.
