HI Guys,
Does anyone know if DA is working , or coming out with a 75 motor..? Since they've got the 150 I figure they would be working on a single as well.. Any ideas or ' leaks' he hee.

Yes, DA is working on a 75 single. R&D and out sourcing components can be problematic it takes time. Finding viable sources with the will to do the job right, on time and within tolerance is no small effort either.

Thanks Michael, do you think that means months? Weeks? Days?? About How far along are they? It seems that ZDZ has that size cornered right now, and I've heard a lot of good, and occasionally a little bad, about their engines..(ZDZ).

3w has an excellent 75 single, actually 2. There is a side carb and rear carb version, as well as a twin spark. Wait, that's three.

Im surprised someone hasnt taken a 150, and built 2 75 CC motors out of it..all you need is a crankcase and a crank..easy to make stuff there...would be a fun project..

This engine has been "in the works" for more than a year. Who knows how long it will be, i definatly would not get a plane to build around this engine.

I don't think even Dave Johnson really knows when they'll be ready for market. When everything comes together it will happen, there are simply to many variables. The 200 four cylinder sound is intoxicating, there coming too...

It's likely DA is also learning from the 50R and is implementing lessons learned herein for the new 75 single.

Sounds good to hear a first hand opinion, I opened a DA75 discussion in the Gas Engines forums the last week if you guys want to see some of the good comments from people, and some comments from people that just want to argue and make arrogant remarks,,,
