i need help installing my rantec rotor on my os 91
To install the rotor rantec on my os 91,Do i remove backplate, lock key and live only the washer behind the backplate.
Does this sounds right

Joe I tried yesterday without the washer and the rotor felt like it was hitting the crankcase then with the washer and it felt right
.
ANOTHER QUESTION?
How to Install the rotor on the eng, eng keeps spinning I don't now how to tight the bolt that holds the rotor.
Please help.

i need help installing my rantec rotor on my os 91
Raven,
Mine felt fine without the washer, and it was not contacting the crankcase.
Ramtec has a rotor wrench that keeps the rotor from rotating while you tighten the bolt. The newer Ramtecs come with the wrench. I've tightened many without a wrench by putting a piece of wood into the exhaust port to keep the engine from rotating. Others have coiled a rope into the glow plug hole, or filled the chamber with oil (keep the engine upside-down to keep it from running out while tightening) to keep the engine from rotating. These methods aren't as good as the wrench because it puts a lot of strain on the con rod, but they all work.
