The camera transmitter is causing interferences
Tired of losing signal with my 50mA transmitter I've bought a 800mA one for the wireless camera but it seems that such power is enough to cause interferences to the controller signal.
Any of you has this problem?
It isn't the camera from RCToys. This camera has a separated transmitter. I use a 9v battery to power it.
I'll try to put the transmitter as far as I can from the DF board (i.e. hanging it below the DF)
I want to know if anyone had this problem and how was it solved.
Thanks!!!

RE: The camera transmitter is causing interferences
800 mw (I assume you meant milliwatts) is a fair amount of power. Even though the frequency ranges are very different, or at least, should be, I can see a 800 mw transmitter causing problems, especially if it's not well-shielded and is leaking RF, maybe on some intermediate frequency. (I'm not an RF expert, though.) What frequencies are you using for your camera and your controller?

RE: The camera transmitter is causing interferences
The camera is between 900 and 1200 MHz
The controller is 72Mhz (FM CH53)
I've ordered a 2.4GHz camera. I think the ones from RCToys are from this frequency.
I've read that less power is required to get the same distance if the frequency is higher.
The seller from this other camera told me 200mW @ 2.4GHz can reach 1 or 1.5Km. If finally it can reach 500m without interferences I'll be happy.

ElVela, you might want to ask this question where all of the power users of wireless video hang out like RCU's, RCG's, HeliFreak's or RunRyder's AP forums.
