Want to use gas in this plane. What do you recommend?
Thanks,

A buddy put a 46cc conversion motor in one (Poulan). It needed no weight to balance it, and it still lands like a baby, slow and steady...

It doesn't need that much motor , but it doesn't hurt it either.

Hay Check 6,
There is a club member with a DLE 20 in one and I've seen G38 installed into the airframe. What ever you can stuff into the cowl will work and its one beautiful flying model.

flew one for years with a BME 44. It was perfect. A friend also has one with a G 38 and it does ok too. A DLE 30 would be a good choice.

Hi All,
Thanks for the input. I'm going with a DLE 35 RA. This should pretty much fit into the cowl with the rear exhaust and rear carb.
Thanks again,
Fred

Kerwin, I believe my friend balanced the plane by adding a really nice tricked out tail wheel, and by mounting the receiver pack back further than normal.. putting a receiver pack in the tail can really change a CG
