Help Me Pick My First HOTLINER
Hey guys,
Need some help. Been flying for about five years now and I've gone through most of the class's, I've had Zaggi's, EDF's, 3D Planes, foamies, 30% gassers, Nittro, you name it and I've had some experience with it. Now I want to get my hands dirty with a hotliner. Can someone recommend an intermediate to advanced hotliner and powersetup. I don't want a foamy one I want one made of fiberglass / CF nothing to fancy. Enough to go vertical at launch and still catch a thermal or two in the right conditions. Any help would be appreciated.

RE: Help Me Pick My First HOTLINER
FVK Bandit hands down!
It is my first hotliner. Here is a video with the new setup. Just sick. And a great quality/easy to repair build. You can go warmliner with it, or really hot...this is about medium...

Here is a page of hotliners for your consideration:

I kinda like the look of the Nike 2 and the Excite F5D.

The Hawk F5B from icare rc is about as cheap as they get for great quality, and a wing that can take some G's.
It's $319.
I started with a GP Siren which is a lot of fun but you have to be really careful with that wing.
I'm just finishing up my Flash II Crabon which is my first High quality Hotliner. It's a bit pricey but all of the quality Hotliners that can take the speed are.
Otherwise check out the multiplex Blizzard. It's foam but I hear it's a nice cheaper option.
