Well There is really no Best charger, I don't have one myself but I really like the Cellpro made by FMAdirect.com. you can buy it from them, its a simply plug and play charger but it works great, i know a few guys who has them and I plan on buying one soon.

its around $75.00

There has to be a "best charger"! No? Can it charge multiple batteries at once? Thanks.

FMA Celpro IS the best charger. Plug and ply. It will fast charge, deciding on its own the charge rate depending on the condition of the batt. Few chargers will do multiple charging. It will charge an overdischarged batt. that few, if any chargers can do. Probably the safest charger out there. Can you tell i'm a satisfied customer?

Thank you. I am new to RC helicopters and want to make sure I am doing things right. Have been reading way too many stories of these batteries catching fire... Want to avoid that!

There's a long thread on RC Groups in the general thread on peoples viewpoints on the Cellpro if you want to check it out further.

As far as I know, the only place is from the FMA website now. I used to get them from the local hobby shop but they quit selling them to distributors. Check it out at there website. Lots of other goodies too.

It's a good charger but not the most user friendly in my opinion.

This is a great charger that will charger any type battery. It also comes with its own power supply so you can use it with AC or DC power. It has 2 outputs so you can charge 2 batteries at once, even if they are different types. It is a plug and play charger or you can adjust the rates you perfer.

How about the Competition Electronics turbo 35GFX? Or the Thunder Power TP1010C?

Sorry, but I really want to have as many opinions as possible. Thanks.

I don't think it will charge quite any battery, It won't charge cellpro or thunder power.

The Cellpro 4S gets my vote. It will automatically balance charge up to 4 cells. If you want to charge up to 10 cells FMA has a NEW balancing charger coming out later this month that will do 2-10 cells (or multiple packs simulataniously). These are probably the safest Li-Po chargers you can buy. Check their website: <http://www.fmadirect.com/detail.htm?...section=45>

They also charge the new A123 cells that are becoming popular.

Whatever you get MAKE SURE it "balance charges" Li-Po batteries. Any other type will just shorten the life of the battery.

Mine has been working great! If I ever upgrade to a heli that needs a 5-6 cell Li-Po I will definitely buy the new Cellpro Revolectrix 10s
