Default CG on Nitroplanes Yak 52

Has anyone bought and built the Yak 52 3D 56 version from Nitrol Planes?? The kit seems pretty good the instruction manual wasn't the best, I was wondering what the best balance point (CG) would be? How far back from the leading edge have you guys found good for this model? Of all things not to put in the manual. Thanks Darin

G'day Mate,
Have you looked carefully at the back page of the manual, it usually shows the balance point, with the measurements to suit.
From that point, you must fly it & adjust the balance point to suit YOUR flying style.

yeah trust me i have looked all over for it from page to page i even e-mailed them and they have no clue either(go figure) they told me to ask on here, of all things to not put in the manual, this manual was the worst that i ever seen in the fifteen years that i have been flyin, if you didn't now a little about planes im not sure if the plane could even be built from these. well ill just wing it and hope for the best, i don't like doin that but i have no other choice. any other help would be great

G'day Mate,
I believe I have the instructions for the plane you are referring to. Does it look like the one in the pics?
If so the balance point is 120mm or 4.70 inches behind the leading edge of the wing, measured where the wing meets the fuselage.
See Pix.
Hope this helps.

The one in your pics Alan looks to be the first version. I am pretty sure the one rcchoppernut has is the 2008 version. I have the 2008 version and it is a bit different. I would imagine the CG should be pretty close though.

Any built one of these more recently.  The hardware i got with mine seems too small.  I'm also having trouble figuring out how the pull pull cables connect.
