I got a brand new HPI 15FE engine and it wont start. When i turn the flywheel by hand, i hear a slite hiss, and i lose a bit of pressure, as i turn the flywheel slowly, i lose compression until nearly nothig, how can i fix this or do i need a new engine.
But its brand new?

Perhaps your glow plug is not on tight enough or the gasket is not there. If everyting checks out right, take it back to where you bought it from and have them check it out.

if you turn the flywheel by hand and you hear a hissing sound, make sure you dont have an air leak.
seal the carb seat up with some liquid gasket stuff, and check like mike said the glow plug/plug spacer, and the exhaust while your at it.

if i try to turn the flywheel on an engine i got on the shelf i cant fully turn it over by hand, and its a used engine. and i dnt hear and air escaping
