I have one on mine. No problem, it is a perfect engine for it. I built mine as a tail dragger and mounted the battery in the rear fuselage to get it to balance without adding weight. I made a hatch on the bottom of the fuselage to put the battery in and then covered it over with Monokote.
A 55 AX will be fine on it - and I bet that thing will be a real fire cracker too! I have a 46 FX on mine - and it flys great. Mine is kit built and has been converted to a tail dragger. I know with my 46 FX and my battery and receiver sitting right on the center of gravity line mine balances pretty well - just very very slightly nose heavy. I'm not sure how well a heavier 55 AX would balance, but every plane is a little different so maybe yours will balance well with a 55 AX up front. I've got a 55 AX laying around as I speak - maybe I'll test it out in my good ol' Stik 40, mine's got 70 + flights on it and it's rock solid - I've yet to fly it this season but I'll be dusting it off soon enough.
