Default REVO Diff Oils & Nitrage Help

Hi all,

This isn't strictly Revo related but a Revo Race Truck with centre diffs are the settings i'm looking for. I've recently purchased a Tamiya Nitrage kit, It's a 1/8th Truggy/MT hybrid thing with 3 diffs, the kit supplies one bottle of 30000wt diff oil and instructs to use this in all three diffs but it's like treacle, almost solid, I don't feel happy using 30000wt front, centre & rear and figure a Revo is similar when set-up with a centre diff - what are the generally accepted diff oils for a Revo? Buggies seem to be something like 5,7,1 etc (front 5000, centre 7000, rear 1000) from what I have read but a Revo seems more comparitive to a Nitrage than a buggy. Any tips? Itching to get this built [8D] Thanks

30,30,30 would work in a heaviercar like the nitrage. But in the nitrage I would go 10,30,5 to start.
Wouldn't be a bad place to start with the revo either. Or maybe a little lighter, perhaps mix it for about 7.5,15,3.5

5,7,1 works in buggies because their tires are so skinny. You have to let them spin or the'll NEVER go straight.

OK, thanks for that, confirms my suspicions. I'll dig through my oils and go for a lighter set-up than this 30,30,30. Cheers.
