Default A question about FTL45

Hi folks,
a few days ago I received a FTL 45 from Unitedhobbies. I red the past thread about this engine but I have a question fo your. Who knows the jennFeng 9295 spark plug included in the engine? My FTL comes with the Rcexl ver 2.0 ingnition. Do you think that it is possible to change this unknow spark plug with a NKG CM6?

Hi picca, how is the plug made? 14mm, 10mm, taper seat, compression ring? Before I even ran my CRRC 45 I replaced the plug with a Champion DJ8J. I have not had good luck with the stock plugs!

As you can see the plug is 14 mm so I think that the CM6 not go well . My doubts came from the fact that I do not know anything about this Jennfeng spark plug. The other thing is that it has a strange ring compression (I have never seen before) as you can see in the pictures. I know that FTL45 is a very economical engine, it has any instruction manual, poor quality muffler but I decided to buy this engine because the ignition is a good quality and the price ot the total kit is fantastic (only the ignition is about 60 euro). So I'd like to replace the srpak plug with onother quality plug but I do not know what kind of it!

you might want to read through this it cover all the issues with the enigne
and you don't need that spacer the plug won't hit the piston even with the base gasket removed
