What car/truck/buggy is in need of a new engine (I don't want to just assume it's for a nitro RS4 3)? Are you racing or bashing? Are you looking for maximum power, rpm, life expectancy, or a good compromise? What is your budget? With a little more info, I'm sure the folks here can help.

Since it's a traxxas nitro buggy, RPM is more important than horsepower (it's a relatively light vehicle). I'd look at the fantom 12 or 15 as they both are high RPM engines.

i think that traxxas buggy is a 10th scale though so it wouldnt be a drop in. he'd have to do a lot of work, which if he doesnt know which engine is remotley good then i doubt he could handle a .21 conversion.

its the pics on bottom of first page and first pic on second page
it was soo tight for a little while hit wheelies like their nothing but then after 2 tanks clutchbell stripped.i thought that would happen b/c ive been through 3 clutchbells on that car w/ the torq 16. and to this day that metal spur gear is not messed up.
i also put that .21 on my nrs4. had to cut a post or 2 and drill soem more holes ,mods, the usual stuff. and it had sooo much power. 2 speed wouldnt fit so i slapped my 1 speed back on and spun the tires sooo much. fun didnt last long. 3 tanks and bent the rod that the spur gear is on. now thats power. i had pics on my friends camera but i dont know if he deleted them or not. i also put dirt hawgs on my rs4 heres pics
