im a beginner, never had a car b4 i dont want to start with electric because its 2 slow outta the box and it costs a fortune to upgrade.. and it takes forever to charge a bettery pack.. ok back to the subject, is it hard to build a nitro kit? im thinking of buying hpi nitro rs4 type ss or a rtr or a ntc3 rtr.. is the yokomo any good?

Im not sure what you think a kit is, but when I came into the hobby my notion of a kit was a box full of parts ready to build.
What I came to find is their "kits" are pre-built cars that require adding electronics and engines. Doesn't sound difficult to me.
I bought the Tower stadium truck kit and that is how it shipped.
Also I agree 110% about the electric and thats why I went with nitro.
