Anybody else out there going. Are you just going to look around, sell, buy, or what? What are you taking with you and what do you hope to find?

I'll be there but not looking for anything in particular....Always on the lookout for things like gas engines and retracts that are just too good to turn down.
I always enjoy seeing the people I know from the forums too.

Default Perry

I am right next to Jerry. If you are looking for retracts, I have a brand new set of Century retracts for the TF Beechcraft Bonanza or T34, which I plan on selling.
ALso have a Super Cub (40-50 size) and a couple of other sport planes.

Default Requirements?

I'm not sure I understand what you mean by requirements. You bring your stuff, set it up, and try to sell it. Most of the regular vendors are set up to take credit cards. For everybody else it's cash and carry. What other requirements do you need to know about?

I will be there, but just to look around. I will mainly be looking for a "Gas" airplane. Maybe something around 25%-30% size. I also need a G-38 engine. Hope to see you guys there. I will be there Friday when it opens.

Default Perry

I'll be there. I can't wait. Our club has two tables and we will be selling some big birds.
Giant Stinger with Mustang 50 and servos
Robinhood 99 completely RTF with Q50 and radio
1/4 H9 Cap 232 airframe
Q35
Super Tiger 2500 with muff.
and other pieces and parts.

I would like to find an AT6 Texan gasser. I've always wanted one of those.
Or any other big fabric cover planes.
Matt

Default Perry, Ga

Hey Aerohead:

We're going to Perry, a group from the Jackson Flyers of Columbia, SC. We waited too long to get a table, so we may be outside! I'm taking a n.i.b. Cermark .60 F-20, a small Porterfield ARF n.i.b., a built .061 (Norvel) Shrike, a 25% Fokker DR-1 done up in the Red Barron's next to last color scheme (G-38), n.i.b. G-38, a built-but-never-flown Cox .049 2-channel Cessna 182 (circa 1985, gold stickered).
Give me a yell.

Default Perry Swap Meet

I'll be bringing an "in the bones" MW CAP 232. All framed up, ready to cover. I've also got a NIB ST 4500--converted to gas that's already mounted on the Cap, along with a TT spinner. Also got a Global Skyraider warbird (.60 size)---again, all framed up and ready to cover. Also got a Futuba Super 7 radio and a couple of receivers for it. I'd like to sell these and pick up a Ziroli kit---Stuka, Dauntless, etc,... . See you guys there,.....Warped Wing

Default Hey leverjm

A word to the wise. If you're staying at the H.I., plan on eating someplace else. The food there is expensive, but it is the pits! I used to live in Warner Robins back in the sixties and early seventies when the motel was first built and people used to come from all over to eat there because the food was so good. Not anymore, take my word for it. Whoever the chef was back then either went elsewhere or died. If he is dead, he is rolling over in his grave. :thumbdown

Default Let's make a deal.

I'll be there with a Goldberg Extra300 with YS120, Great Planes 120 size Super Sportster with OS120 Surpass, an old Goldberg Anniversary Cub with Saito 65, assorted glow engines, an "in-the-bones" 87" Aeropro Laser, and some assorted small stuff. Will also be looking for a deal on an H9 1/3 Sukhoi. My partner will be selling a very nicely built Byron Sukhoi with a Sachs 4.2 gas engine. I'll be in McGill, tables E3-7. Come on by and intoduce yourselves. Would like to meet some of you guys I've been corresponding with for a few months. See you there.

I'll be looking forward to meeting some of you guys. Aerohead, I want to take a look at that Laser you have. Is it bare, or does it have an engine?

Default rookie8

It does not have an engine mounted. I was going to use a G62, but ended up buying a larger plane before I finished the Laser. The instructions called for a 2.5 through 3.7, but you would want to go with an engine on the upper side of that range. I've heard that the G62 is great on this plane, but a lighter weight engine around 60cc would be nice, too (but more expensive).
