Default batteries for receiver

just got savage 25 this truck is great but the 4 aa batts for the receiver just don't cut it . any body done a batt change yet can tell me what u used.

my friend bought a rechargable battery pack for his. i dont know what kind it is but hes driled a hole in the side of the box that covers the electronics and stuck the plug for the battery out so he wouldnt have to take the cover off to recharge it. it works really well.

This is a good set-up, it alows you to keep that radio box together.

The stock box isn't waterproof but you can plug the cutout with some RTV/silicon

ok. i think im gonna go with this stuff and waterproof my radio box. im also gonna waterproof my diffs.
