Default Favorite Tamiya cars

Hey everyone, I want to get some opinions. I'm in the process of selling of some of my RC's and aside from a shelf queen here and there, Im curious if you could have two Tamiya cars for everyday recreational use , one for on-road and one for off-road, what would you choose. I'm leaning towards the new M-05 Mini Cooper, and as far as off-road i'm really torn between a Clod Buster or the Lunchbox.

I'd go with a TA-05 for on road, and a Hilift based vehicle for off road.

I already went with a lunchbox and a tt01, not saying they are the 'best' but they are fun and reasonable in price, and very durable. Quite a few hopups available for the tt01 too.

Yeah, im not looking for "the best," I just want stuff that you can have good fun with. I look at the money I've put into building my Clod's over the years and it makes you sit back and wonder how many other kits I could have for what I put into just one truck, LOL

I would probably choose the TB-02/03 and the Tundra.

I agree,Lunchbox/Midnite Pumpkin in which I have 1 of each.Pretty durable, goofy lookin',and handles like crud but thats what makes 'em fun!I guess the unpredictablility of landings after each jump or just driving around is why I like them, wheely wheely.Onroad?I still enjoy my ancient TAO2W Skyline clarion Nismo which now wears a raggedy ole' BMW body, very durable also and handles reasonably well.

Man that's a hard choice. If I can only choose 2 then I'd have to say my trusty hornet for off road and mini cooper for on road. I might have to change my mind on the off road selection here in a couple of weeks as I have a Madbull I'm getting ready to assemble.

I will have to say my fave Tamiya RC is the Lunchbox. Not because it is the best Tamiya (there are some way better Tamiya RCs), but because my humble LunchBox got me through a seriously cold winter this past winter. Where I could not go out and bash my gas and nitro RCs, My Lunchbox was there to keep me company by crawling on some inoor terrain (books, boxes, seat and sofa cushions, etc).

Needles to say, my Lunchbox has definitely earned a sentimental place in me.

The Clod Buster all the way! I saw one of those in the LHS when I was a kid and I had to wipe the drool off it. Now that was an RC!!

Depends on what you want to do? Rock climbing I would go with the Tundra. If you wanted a buggy I would suggest a DB-01. If you wanted a monster truck I would choose the clod buster. If you wanted a drifter/basher onroad car I would choose a TT-01 or TB-02 cause they are just as cheap. I honestly wish I had all of them!
