RE: HELP- top speed!
get the delphi!, so much better, the spirit sucks, the delphi goes about 34 outta teh box, the spirt goes about like 22 mph. when i got my delphi there was some problems i had to fix with though.(minor, body was cut bad, and the trim took awhile to figure out,my trim was all screwed up) but those cars cant take seven cells. get the delhpi. its very light and very strong, i took it off a jump at full speed and it flew and nothing broke but the straw.

RE: HELP- top speed!
Agreed the Delphi is a wicked wicked little car and super cheap. Tower currently has the best price I know of. It comes with a good strong motor a descent speed control graphite chasis and full bearings to boot. For under 100 bucks. It does have a handling problem though. This means basically it dosnt with the stock rubber. you can either change to the tamiya rubber or add weight to the front or both depending on the surface you are running on. I currently have a streak esc in mine a 12 turn double and am using a 2 pl radio system and it blazes like you wouldnt believe clocked over 40 miles per hour. If you want to see how it compared against the tamiya formula cars there is a description of the fun run races we held about a month ago on one of the delphi threads.
