Default Problems

I have a h9 edge 540. I put dual elevator servos in the rear for the elevator halves. And i have the dubro heavy duty control horn setup on the elevators. I have the same length titanium pushrods on each servo, same eveything. Ok so i turn on the tx and rx and both halves center perfectly. Ok so theyre both in line. Then when i go up the right half goes more than the left.
When i go down the left is more than the right. I have tried everything to fix it and it seems that nothing can fix it. PLEASE HELP ME. Im dying to fly the edge and this is the only thing im waiting on. -Jeff

Use twin elevator mixing in your radio to solve this problem. Some servos travel more than others. If you are using Hitec digis then use the Hitec programmer.

Does your Y-harness for your elevator servos have a center adjust for one of the servos? If so, you can mechanically adjust the center of one servo to be a little off center, then readjust the linkage to center your elevator. If the problem goes away, great! If not, adjust your servo the other way and you should fix the problem.

Default Awsome airplane

I built one of these for a good friend of mine. It only uses one servo for the elivator, a long push rod and a Y .

One reason for the the different throws could be that when mounting the control hornes... One is closer or further from the hinge line than the other.

I hope this makes sense I have done this in the past

I HATE MOUNTING CONTROL HORNS :boxing:

Regards
Jim

You never said if you had each servo plugged in a receiver channel or are you using a "Y" If you are using a "Y" you will have to adjust the linkage and the servo spline/gears so that it all lines up. If you have it plugged into different channels, you can change the end points of each half so that they move in sync.

Adjust the throw on one of them, isnt it channel 2 and 6 for independent elevators?
