Default What does everyone's E-revo's weigh

Well mine weighs just over 11 lb's. Its a pig I know I need to go on a diet. Looking to upgrade to some carbon fiber parts and some lipo's to come down in some weight. Any other thoughts to lose weight. I've heard the carbon fiber chassic suck is this true?

The 3.3 chassies don't suck but they will break a lot easier then the 2.5 chassies will. I would only get it with the 2.5 chassies tho. There are other ways to get your truck down in weight other then a CF chassies. My nitro revo weighs 8.2 lbs with 17mm hubs and wheels. Stock is 9.5 lbs. You must have a lot of alluminum or somethin for it to be 11 lbs.

Well your right, I will shed about one lb if I go with maxamps 2s 5000mah. two of those lipos. weigh .90 of a lb. The 6000mah weighs 1.3lbs, and the 8000 mah weighs 1.6 lbs.

Wow I never thought of how much they really weigh.. Did you use a conversion kit or somethin to make it electric or did you do a custom job?

My setup is simple... I ordered from RC monster for the motor mount. and I made my own battery tray and esc holder. The trans has 2nd gear locked and I'm using the motor as the brake.

So back to the heavy E- revo. I bought a servo with 125 torque, now I have just one. I cuts some material off the frame which wasn't being used and ended up with 5.4 oz. removed total yesterday. And I just order (2) 2s 4000mah maxamps lipo's which weigh .81lbs. compaired to 2.23lbs that a 1.42lbs loss in weight.

The Bad news...... I broke my motor shaft.. how nice. Damn Novak. I heard I'm not the only one.
