This is probably a dumb question but if I buy the new JR 11 radio, can I convert it to 72 mhz when flying my old models? I have a JR 783 that is not working. Rather than get it fix, I would rather have one radio to maintain.

The North America version of the 11x is not modular, its 2.4 only.

There is a version of the 12X that is modular and can be used with 72Mhz and 2.4.

True, but it was discontinued about a year ago so he'd have to look for a used one and there aren't many of 'em out there....
