cx2 no lift after crash
New and was flying higher than I should when I hit a light fixture at about 10 ft. Broke three blades off and fell to concrete. The blue on the top is nicked. Straighten fly bar and balanced new blades. Adjusted tracking on upper blades but under full power will not lift of more than a foot high and has the TBA. Slowly spun up, and can see slight wobble in outer shaft at lower speed. Could the inner and outer be bent and causing my problem? Thanks for any help.....Brian

A slightly bent outer shaft will cause TBE, but not the no lift issue. Here is a link that will help you straiten your shafts without having to buy new ones.

The power loss could be a whole range of things from bad blades to gearmesh. Here is a link to our favorit guide from Soloboss and a couple of videos for you to check/fix bad blades.

RE: cx2 no lift after crash
Had already boiled and balanced blades but would still would not lift over a foot high. Pulled the center shaft out and found it was bent. Was not sure about outer shaft so bought a new shaft to. Balance fly bar to make blades tracking correct. Tried it again and will now she will lift off like it should but still has TBE. Dialed down the throttle and got just the lower blades spinning slowly and outer shaft still has a wobble. You can see the center shaft wobbling while it is not turning. So back to tearing it down to check new outer shaft and perform the bent shaft repair this time.

Thanks for the update.
Bent shafts will cause TBE. Check to make sure that your flybar has a nice bounce when you flick it downwards. It should bounce about twice then level off flat. I would say about 80% of TBE is caused by the flybar.
