Coreless motors, am I misunderstanding something?

Coreless motors, am I misunderstanding something?
Everything I have read said red and blue wire should rotate clockwise, and white and black wires should rotate counterclockwise. Are you supposed to read the rotation standing in front of the prop, or behind the motor? Because all of my coreless motors are rotating the opposite direction of what their wire colors say. All these motors have press on the shaft props, no gear drives.
